Hope looks different for every camper—and every Hope Story reflects that.
Throughout the week, campers are invited to write about what hope means to them, whether it's a letter to a loved one, a memory, a dream, or a reflection on their journey. Some stories are joyful, some are emotional, and some are simply about the little moments that make camp feel like home.
Sharing is always a choice. During mealtime, campers who feel ready can stand before their camp family and read their Hope Story aloud. It's a moment met with encouragement, applause, and the reminder that every voice matters. As a celebration of their courage, each camper who shares is invited to choose a special Hope Gift—a small keepsake to remember the moment and the hope they shared with others.
The Hope Stories you'll find here offer a glimpse into camp through the eyes of our campers. They are honest, inspiring, and a beautiful reminder that even in life's hardest moments, hope can be found in friendship, laughter, and the courage to share your story.
